Now that March is in full swing I am busier than ever at the farm and at home. I have spent the winter planning for whats to come this growing season, buying seeds, infusing last years harvest like Calendula and Yarrow, and building a new raised bed! Lots has been happening and Im really excited for whats in store this season. Not only that- but my lovely Cousin has been working so hard to design a new website for Short Hill Mountain Medicine! The idea that everyone will have easy access to amazing products really motivates me to plan for the best year yet. I have tons of seeds I will be starting in the coming days like Calendula, Self Heal, Echinacea, indigo, verbena, and mountain mint to name a few. Most of these will be started in the greenhouse and then transplanted to my lovely new raised bed here at home in Lovettsville. I am looking forward to keeping everyone posted on the progress of the plants and I appreciate you stopping by for a quick update. Happy New Moon Y'all!
